Online Share Selection Database

"Thanks also for all your great advice over the 30 years that I've subscribed to your service. You've outlasted accountants, lawyers and doctors, and along the way helped me to develop a life long interest in the stockmarket." G.B. - Feb 2023

The Online Share Selection program gives private investors full access to Securities Research Company's share selection database of all Australian and New Zealand listed companies. This database has been designed to provide the valuable information necessary to identify shares with the potential to significantly outperform the market average.
While information has originally been obtained from publicly available sources, it has been collected, collated and analysed to provide "private" information that is not available from other sources. For example, our Relative Strength Rating of share price trends provides a valuable method of predicting future performance.  One Insider buy or sell is of little significance, so we collate data for the last 52 weeks (after removing insignificant transactions) to detect any widespread buying or selling by company insiders. Many research reports have shown the importance of this information (e.g. Neglect, Price/Sales ratios) but this data is not widely available.

Our database now puts all of these useful indicators that can be quantified and analysed objectively in the hands of private investors - with a fully interactive program that allows you to quickly identify shares that meet any criteria of your choice!

We recommend combining dissimilar and unrelated types of indicators - such as Technical indicators (i.e. Relative Share Price Strength) and Fundamental indicators (i.e. P/E ratios, Dividend Yields) and Sentiment indicators (i.e. Insider Buying, Broker Neglect) in searches as this will significantly improve your investment results!
After using the Online Share Selection to build a short list of investment candidates, however, further subjective analysis of each company, its growth potential and the ability of management to build shareholder wealth is necessary before buying or selling shares. For further research we suggest:
(1) Read the company's announcements to the stock exchange (available free from the stock exchange website or from most stockbroker websites).
(2) Visit the company's own website for information about the business and to download copies of Annual reports.
(3) Learn more about using the Share Selection indicators by studying our
Comprehensive Share Selection Criteria and reading stockmarket books.

Subscribers can access (1) Weekly updates to the standard computer reports we publish monthly (or quarterly) in the Market Analysis newsletter (i.e. based upon our Comprehensive Share Selection criteria, Insider data, etc) or (2) conduct their own Interactive Share Selection using any combination of of various selection criteria.
Visitors can access our fully operational share selection program but, as current data is confidential to subscribers, can only run their analysis on historical data.

You may see the message "The information you're about to submit is not secure". This is as "Google has labelled all http/ sites as unsafe" and wants to "have secure https/ everywhere" for all webpages. So, be warned, some hacker could be spying on your stockmarket research! But seriously, you are NOT using sensitive personal information to run the Online Share Selection so just click "Send anyway". If you find Google too annoying, then you can change the settings on your browser. Go Settings, Privacy and Security, Security and under Safe Browsing select "No protection (not recommended)".
